To give you some inspiration, we're sharing Katie's very own pre-wedding skincare routine and highlighting the significance of each step.

12 MONTHS IN ADVANCE
FOR COLLAGEN:
Sculptra Treatment #1
Sculptra enhances collagen production by 65% in just three months, resulting in reduced fine lines and wrinkles and improved skin texture. However, it takes about two months to begin noticing visible results, and we recommend two treatments, which is why we recommend initiating the process at least a year ahead of your wedding day. FOR LINES:
Neurotoxin (Botox or Dysport)
To ensure a smooth and line-free complexion, you should begin addressing wrinkles at least one year before your wedding as it can take several treatments to fully get rid of lines at rest.
Additionally, if you have a square face (with overactive jaw muscles), now is the time to begin The Slim to ensure you have a slim, contoured lower face on the big day.
FOR SMOOTHNESS & TEXTURE:
Chemical Peel #1
Refresh your skin and even out your complexion by getting regular chemical peels before your wedding day. If you've never done a peel, just remember that peeling is expected for 3-5 days but flaking can last up to 2 weeks. By starting this process early on, it will ensure that you won't have to deal with pesky flaking for all of your pre-wedding festivities.
8 MONTHS BEFORE
FOR COLLAGEN:
Microneedling Session #1 (with Topical Sculptra)
Now is the time to plump fine lines, smooth out scars, and refine pores with regular microneedling sessions. To ensure the most potent, effective results we recommend layering on topical Sculptra, or what we call our SkinPen Microneedling Sculptra Infusion, for your first treatment.

It is crucial to schedule a neurotoxin appointment once you start noticing movement again, typically 3-4 months after your first treatment. This will guarantee a wrinkle-free, smooth complexion for your wedding day.

If you're considering trying dermal filler before your wedding, we recommend giving yourself ample time and scheduling a treatment 8 months out. We suggest starting with one of our popular treatments like The Profile, The Contour, The Cheeky, or The Pout, so we can evaluate how your skin responds and make sure you're happy with the results. Just like you'd have several hair and makeup trials before the big day, a dermal filler trial is just as important to ensure you look and feel your best on your special day.
6 MONTHS & COUNTING

Microneedling Session #2 (with Exosomoes)
For optimal results, it's important to schedule your microneedling sessions 6-8 weeks apart, which lands us here, at the 6-month mark. For the ultimate, glowiest, dewiest skin, we recommend laying on Exosomes, or what we call our SkinPen Microneedling Exosome Glow, for your second treatment.

Third times a charm! A treatment series of 3 is recommended for microneedling. Each treatment stimulates collagen and the collagen takes 6 weeks to build. A treatment series means collagen, on top of collagen, on top of collagen!

Add the last bit of zhuzh that may or may not be needed.
1 MONTH IN ADVANCE
FOR LINES:

We love to see brides a month before the big day so that if a touch up were needed we could touch up with two weeks still to spare for the final result. Some brides do not want to have a drop of movement while other brides would like to show expression during vows :) Most brides have the main goal of little to no makeup creases when their professional makeup is applied on the big day! This is why 3-4 neurotoxin treatments are necessary leading up to the final treatment.
FOR RADIANCE
HydraFacial or DiamondGlow Facial
Although we do not offer these treatments at Contour, we highly recommend one of these just a week to 3 weeks before the big day! And a friendly reminder from Katie "don't forget the back if you have a backless dress". These facials provide just the right of gentle exfoliation to give a glow and clean out pores.
